"Ecometal Engineering" Ltd was established in 2002 with its main purpose being the trading of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap refuse.

Our Mission and History

The mission of "Ecometal Engineering" Ltd is to fully enclose the technological cycle of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap reclaiming and to fully recycle and reuse them. Due to this, in 2009 the company was awarded "The most ecological company of the year".

The company holds Eastern Europe’s most state of the art Metso Lindemann ZZ shredder installation for the rework and reclaiming of out of order and out of use vehicles. To this day the company has reclaimed more than 110 000 old automobiles.
EcoMetal has the only oil filter and tire recycling plants and installations in Bulgaria.
Has the first imported installation for the reclaiming of out of use electrical equipment and electronics in Bulgaria.

State of the art deironing and separation of slag from blast furnace and steel work byproducts to achieve pure metals and inert materials.
The “Ecometal Engineering” Ltd. fleet holds more than 80 repo trucks, more than 15 flat bed vehicles and 6 vehicles type “Road Assistance”. In addition we hold over 50 specialized machines, front loaders, industrial diggers and fadroma vehicles.

The base of operations of “Ecometal Enginnering” Ltd in Sofia is based on 90,000 square meter plot of land at the foothills of the Kremikovci Balkan and it includes the largest diversity of recycling installations in Europe.
